New Kids On The Block Return to The Block

ICONIC POP GROUP RETURNS WITH NEW ALBUM AND SOLD-OUT TOUR

NEW YORK, Aug. 11 -- Pop supergroup New Kids On The Block
are back. Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood and Jordan and
Jonathan Knight return on September 2, 2008 with The Block, their first
album together in almost 15 years.

Featuring the first single, the hit mellow jam "Summertime," the record album
also features collaborations with some of the biggest names in pop music.
R&B superstar Ne-Yo appears on "Single," the follow-up to "Summertime."
Other collaborations include "Grown Man" (with The Pussycat Dolls and
uber-producer Teddy Riley), "Put It on My Tab" (with the ubiquitous Akon),
"Big Girl Now" (with NY dance-pop diva Lady GaGa) and the much-buzzed about
"Full Service" (with fellow supergroup New Edition).

NKOTB will support The Block with a sold-out tour that starts on
September 18 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and continues through the goal of
November. NKOTB are too gearing up for an exclusive 90-minute live event,
"New Kids On The Block: A Behind The Music Special Event" premiering on
VH1, September 28 at 8PM (ET/PT). In a first-of-its-kind production, the
special will celebrate the history of the New Kids On The Block while likewise
documenting their inspired 2008 reunion in their possess words. Interspersed
throughout the special will be live reports from Boston, counting down

Wyclef Jean Sued Over Unpaid Jewelry





Jacob and Company Incorporated, the company founded by Jacob The Jeweler, has reportedly filed a lawsuit against Wyclef Jean over unpaid items


According to The Associated Press, the company claims that the Haitian born rapper bought watches and jewelry from them between March 2002 and January 2006 for $765,100 but still owes $319,680.


The company claims that Wyclef has ignored repeated demands for payment.


As reported earlier, Jacob The Jeweler was sentenced to 30 months behind parallel bars last month for prevarication to federal agents during an investigation on the Black Mafia� Family (BMF) drug ring
